About Perlux Care

At Perlux Care, we are more than just a care provider, we are a community built on empathy, expertise, and a deep commitment to making a difference. Our mission is rooted in supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and complex needs to live with dignity, autonomy, and purpose.

We believe that every individual, regardless of their background or diagnosis, deserves the opportunity to live a fulfilling life in a safe and nurturing environment. That’s why we offer bespoke supported living services that go beyond meeting basic needs. We empower our service users to thrive.

With a highly skilled team of professionals, we deliver round-the-clock, person-centred support in homes that are comfortable, welcoming, and truly feel like home. Our care plans are shaped by the people we support, not just for them. We take time to listen, understand, and co-produce solutions that reflect their personal goals, preferences, and aspirations.

We work closely with local authorities, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent, outcome-driven support that promotes independence, community integration, and emotional wellbeing.

Perlux Care is led by a passionate leadership team with real-world experience in health and social care. Every decision we make is guided by a simple principle: putting people first. Whether it’s the people we support or the dedicated professionals who make up our team, we are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels valued, heard, and empowered.

Our Mission

To deliver compassionate, person-centered care that empowers individuals to live independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes and communities.

Our Vision

A society where everyone, regardless of their circumstances or needs, is empowered to thrive in a safe, inclusive community that recognizes their strengths, respects their choices, and supports their independence.

Our Values

At Perlux Care, our values are more than just words, they guide every decision we make and shape the way we deliver care. They reflect our commitment to excellence, compassion, and respect for every individual we support.

Compassion

We lead with empathy, kindness, and genuine care. Our support is rooted in understanding and delivered with heart. We treat every person as we would want our loved ones to be treated — with warmth, patience, and dignity.

Person-Centered Care

Every individual is unique. We take the time to understand each person’s preferences, routines, aspirations, and support needs. Our care plans are tailored to empower independence, preserve dignity, and enhance quality of life.

Respect and Dignity

We uphold the right of every individual to be treated with respect, fairness, and dignity — regardless of their background, abilities, or circumstances. We actively listen, value every voice, and honour people’s choices in all aspects of their care.

Integrity

We are honest, transparent, and accountable. Families, professionals, and service users trust us because we do what we say we will do — always.

Inclusion and Equality

We celebrate diversity and foster inclusive environments. We actively challenge discrimination, promote equality, and ensure everyone feels safe, seen, and supported.

Excellence in Care

We hold ourselves to the highest standards. Through continuous training, feedback, innovation, and reflection, we strive for excellence in everything we do. We don’t just meet expectations — we aim to exceed them.

Empowerment

We believe in supporting people to take charge of their own lives. Whether it’s building life skills, gaining confidence, or making informed choices, we stand beside individuals — never in front of them.

Collaboration

We work hand-in-hand with families, professionals, local authorities, and most importantly — the individuals we support. True progress is made together.

Our Process

How we Work & Where we operate

Every new referral begins with a comprehensive needs assessment. We involve the individual, their family or representatives, health professionals, and commissioning teams to co-produce a detailed care plan that truly reflects what matters to them.
Support is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet changing needs and aspirations.

Perlux Care currently operates several supported living homes across Greater London and Cambridgeshire, with expansion plans underway to meet rising demand. We work in partnership with local councils, housing providers, and healthcare organisations.

  • We accept referrals from:
Local authority social work and commissioning teams
  • NHS mental health teams
Family members, carers, or advocates (with consent)
  • Voluntary and support organisations

For more information on our referral process or to discuss a potential placement, contact us directly or email us at wecare@perluxcare.co.uk.

How we deliver care

At Perlux Care, the way we deliver support is just as important as the support itself. We believe that quality care should be compassionate, empowering, and designed around the unique strengths, preferences, and aspirations of every individual we support.

Our Care Philosophy

We are driven by the principles of person-centred care, which means we don’t just support people, we partner with them to co-create meaningful lives. Every care plan, support session, and relationship is rooted in respect, dignity, and a deep understanding of each person’s goals and identity.

Key Features of Our Care Delivery

Our approach to managing behaviours that challenge is rooted in evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support. This means we:

  • Understand the reasons behind behaviour.
  • Reduce triggers and stressors in the environment
  • Teach alternative coping strategies
  • Promote positive relationships and routines.

PBS plans are created in collaboration with our Clinical Psychologist and reviewed regularly to ensure effectiveness and safety.

Each service user has a tailored support plan that reflects their assessed needs, goals, cultural background, communication style, and preferences. These plans are developed collaboratively with the individual, their family (where appropriate), and professionals — and reviewed regularly to reflect changes.

Every service user is assigned a dedicated key worker, responsible for championing their goals, coordinating their support, and serving as a familiar, trusted figure in their journey.

We work in partnership with:

  • Social workers and local authority commissioning teams
  • Mental health professionals (e.g. CMHTs, CPNs, psychologists)
  • Speech and language therapists (SaLT)
  • Occupational therapists (OTs)
  • Advocacy services
  • Housing providers and family members

This multi-disciplinary approach ensures holistic care and maximizes outcomes.

Our goal is not to do things for people, but with them. We support individuals to build skills, confidence, and autonomy through:

  • Life skills training (e.g. budgeting, cooking, household management)
  • Travel training and community integration
  • Support to access education, volunteering, or work
  • Confidence-building and social engagement activities

We regularly audit our practices to ensure:

  • Safe, effective, and responsive care
  • Transparent and accountable service delivery
  • Ongoing staff training, supervision, and development
  • Feedback from service users and families is used to improve care

We understand the importance of culture, language, and communication preferences in delivering good care. Staff are trained to:

  • Use accessible formats and communication tools
  • Adapt support for individuals with autism, learning disabilities, or sensory processing differences
  • Respect cultural, dietary, and religious preferences

All support staff at Perlux Care undergo:

  • Mandatory care training (e.g. safeguarding, first aid, infection control)
  • Specialist training (e.g. autism awareness, mental health support, PMVA)
  • Ongoing supervision and reflective practice We invest in our teams so they can deliver safe, skilled, and compassionate care every day.

We don’t just measure hours of care – we measure quality of life. Our services are designed to help individuals:

  • Achieve personal goals
  • Improve wellbeing
  • Maintain stable housing
  • Reduce hospital admissions
  • Develop a sense of purpose, belonging, and fulfilment
